Local solicitor Anne Beasley is holding a pink pearl necklace with sterling silver clasp. Anne hand-made the necklace and donated it to be raffled by the Zonta Club of Coffs Harbour in order to raise funds for the Burma relief project of Tents4Peace International.
Secondary prizes in the raffle were donated by local business, Redz Hair Studios of Park Beach Plaza and Blue Illusion of Coffs Harbour. The raffle was drawn at the premiere of ‘Arsenic and old Lace’ at the Jetty Memorial Theatre.

Below is an extract from the Coffs Harbour Advocate:
The Zonta Club of Coffs Harbour ran a raffle on 29th May 2008 which raised $230 specifically for the Tents4Burma appeal.
Thanks to the generous contribution by a supporter, Anne Beasley, of a beautiful hand-made pink pearl necklace, they have commenced a second raffle which will be drawn at their next social event on July 18th.
Hence the Zonta Club of Coffs Harbour has decided to contribute immediately $500 to the Tents4peace international appeal for Burma. More information about this project can be found at the website www.Tents4Peaceinternational.com
All of this arose as result of the very moving talk Anna Crotty gave at our International Womens Day breakfast last March where her apparently limitless good will won the hearts of all present.
Sitar Master Khalil Gudaz performed at charity concerts in both Melbourne and Hobart in April 2007, to enable us to find funds for Tents for Peace activities in Afghanistan.
These concerts were organised by Anna Crotty and Fazila Hajeb with the generous help and commitment of Ngaire Green and Jane Byrne.
Wild Winter Spectacular held in Hobart in June 2007. Thanks to Chani and Beth for organising this event for Tents4Peace.
