Tents4Peace was founded by Anna Crotty and supported by local communities around Australia. Both Mary Xuereb and Chaitanya Giblin played a major role in the establishment of this organisation. It is now a registered not for profit organisation legally known as ‘Tents4Peace International Inc’. The purpose of registration was to maintain the integrity of our projects and to ensure that financial records are audited each financial year.
The infrastructure and administration has been kept to a minimum. 'Tents4Peace' wishes to honour its pledge that funds donated go directly and completely to the project requested. Administration costs and travel expenses are donated separately by those wishing to sponsor the volunteer team.
